With Caligo, I explored the fear of separation. This digital painting that focuses on the contrast of separation and unity. Especially recently with my relatives and now were can no longer see each in place and have our cookouts and baking Conchas together or styling our hair. With Caligo, I explored the fear of separation. When a member of a family or friend group passes away or is forced to leave, the remaining members struggle to stay united without that person in their lives anymore.
