A Bug Sanctuary

My mixed media sculpture represents peaceful coexistence of varied species by creating an insect utopia. It comprises a wooden sculpture, plastic bugs, and clay flowers to tell a story. The wooden piece represents the earth, which is a sanctuary for various life. The different bugs show that differences can be overcome and that we can coexist. My artwork makes one wonder if harmony among differences is a utopia to be pursued while embracing biodiversity and ideal sanctuaries.
